Tremolo in a box

Hi!

well.... I have a super reverb amp. I wanted it to have a tube tremolo.

I got that, with help from you guys.   

But the tremolo intensity is only deep enough if the bias is very low.  And then the amp is sounding cold.   

I can't live with that.  And I want a tube tremolo.  I know I can get a tremolo pedal. But it would not work in my setup. because then I have to send the signal from my pedalboard to my chandler tube driver and boss dm 300 delay (Rack) and back to my pedalboard. And that would end up in a lot of cables and toneloss.

So I thought about a tube tremolo in a box that I could fit in the cabinet. and switch it on and of with a pedal.   something like the revibe from weber. but just the tremolo...

Do you know any kit or place where I can get one of these?

Or..... would it be easier to replace the neonlight with a LED in the photocell tremolo?

I can't find any clip where I can hear how that sound.

You had a tech convert the tremolo to the bias vary type tremolo and the tremolo effect became too weak.

Then you had the tech put an LED in the tremolo circuit. This increased the tremolo effect but still not good enough for you.

Your simplest/cheapest option is to have your tech convert the tremolo circuit back to the original optocoupler tremolo circuit as found in the AB763 Super Reverb amp. This type of tremolo is not dependant on bias adjustment.

I'm not a tremolo guy, but doesn't this vibroverb reissue have pretty deep tremolo and would that circuit work in super reverb?

thanks for your advises.  I have spend a lot of money on this amp now. I thought it was easy to convert the tremolo, and make it sound like the amp in my head... but here in Denmark we don't have so many tech guys (ampnerds)  that really dig into vintage Fender amps....    (nerds is not negative in my world  ;)  )

well the bias tremolo with a LED on the tube made the tremolo so deep that the speaker moved something like a 1cm forward and backward and made a sound like a helicopter.
It was the tech that said it, I wasn't there when he made it.  so he wired the LED out again and changed or added a capacitor instead where the photocell used to be.  that made the tremolo deeper, but now the amp sounds cold.... 

My own thought was to let the tech wired it as original and install a optocoupler with a LED instead of the original neonlight.    I think I could install the LED myself, and then let the tech wire it in the circuit.
