Just an idea that I have NOT built, but that I think could be a great amp!  IF one is using a 5Y3GT that is old stock, I think you'd end up with maybe around 300volts on the power tube plates which is about what the Gibson Scout GA-17RVT had on 6AQ5's.

It's a Tweed BluezMeister with 6AQ5 tubes.
