I have an opportunity to trade some guitars for one.  Any opinions on the reissue?

I've seen numerous late 60's ones in pretty good condition for around $1000 on ebay and at guitar Center over the last few months.  I personally really like them and hope to add one to my stable at some point, but they don't command will enough cheese at this point for me to consider a reissue. That being said they usually need some work, but that's why this place is great  :icon_biggrin:
So yeah. I'd go for a vintage personally

Hey how you doing! The super in my Forum name stands for super Reverb. So I've got a few opinions hopefully some good☺ no matter what amps I've got and sometimes I have quite a few no matter what else I've always got a super Reverb.   They're sort of like a great big Cadillac and if you got a place to park it and money for gas why would you not want one. Whether you're just driving yourself or a room full of people.   about 45 50 Watts usually 2 to 4 Ohms. four tens, maybe alnico Bells, it's pretty much a bassman with killer Reverb and killer tremolo. of course the oldies are going to command the best resale but I think if you're asking whether you should get into a reissue because you can trade some guitars that you feel are either a good deal or maybe you're getting a really great deal on the super heck yeah go for it.   I've heard some sound pretty darn good I don't really like the circuit boards on some of the ReUse stuff I've seen and worked in, but I think there's also a custom reissue or custom shop reissue and possibly that's what you're looking at.     . Maybe I'm not sure if you just have a particular one time deal or if you're looking for a super Reverb in general.
