stopped receiving email notifications

Hi Doug,

I've noticed that I've stopped receiving email notifications to any threads of which I've replied ever since the middle of February for some reason? I've done nothing I'm aware of to cause this. Thanks for your help in advance-

Although Doug may know if there are issues on his end, it's possible your email service or email client are blocking it a spam?  See if you can put in a support ticket with whoever manages your email (gmail, hotmail yahoo etc?) and ask if email from hoffmanamps or el34world are being blocked?

Now that I think about it, though, I don't know if I've seen any email for a long time either?  I looked at mxtoolbox.com for el34world.com and it sees no issues, no blacklists etc.

Yep, Comcast and MSN keeps putting my server on a block list for some stupid reason
The forum does not send out spam emails
the only emails it sends if if members want email notifications

I am tired of dealing with them
I go to their site all the time and fill out the form to unblock my server
I suggest getting a maybe a hotmail or some other account for forum emails

Here's the message on your emails

Some of those vendors have bad code that detects what is spam, and get a lot of false positives.  On top of that, they prefer if you use some of the newer anti spam technologies like SPF and DKIM etc.  You may want to at least add an SPF record to your dns to make your server look more acceptable.  (I've done email as a job for many many years, and had my own mail server up 'daviszone.org' since '99).

I checked my "safe senders" list and el34world.com was already included. I added hoffmanamps.com just to see what happens? You were not included in any junk or block senders lists. None of the email replies have ever been found in any spam folders. That would've been easy enough to find and un-mark as spam...however, I just plain stopped receiving any emails from your site what so ever suddenly.

I can change the email association if I have to but I prefer not to and want to try to fix this but it may not be on my end either way? I have created a few contacts to include el34world and hoffmanamps just in case also. What a cluster f- this stuff is...

It's nothing you can do, your ISP is blocking them and they never even get to your spam folder

Yup that will definitely be a cause too.  If they offer TLS for the mail server(s) as well, some sites consider that a mandatory thing, but a lot less than say SPF.
