Homemade Orange Tiny Terror clone
« on: April 22, 2017, 11:27:42 am »
Hello All!

I am new to this forum, so just a quick introduction:
I am Hungarian, 26, I have been building tube amps for almost 2 years now as a hobby. I have no electrical engineering education, but based on forum posts, and "how to" videos, I got a basic knowledge regarding building tube amps

As the title suggests, I have built a Tiny Terror clone from scratch.
I documented the build and put together 3 videos, which i posted to youtube:
part 1 -

part 2 -

part 3 -

My intention with the videos and this post is to get some feedback from people who know a lot more than I do, and hopefully help/motivate others who are thinking about starting a similar project

good work!

for the humming..
i think using the input jack itself as a ground is not a great idea. you are relying on tightening that nut for your ground. and that on a painted chassis. i would try to make a more solid ground connection and use an insulated input jack.
