hey guys I have a friend w/rv, and having problems I mean smoking like stereos and batteries n  things... is there a way with really limited toolslike just my multimeters to check out his wiring and see what the heck is upI know he had a like 9000 watt generator but now he's down to about 900 watts is it just that he tries to charge a battery charger and something else and some other couple things and is he just trying to pull too much? don't want him to burn his house down.

Yup, IF, you know what you're looking at.
Think of it as a home with a DC option.  start with everything unplugged, disconnected, verify the mains, find where it coverts to dc, verify chargers, invertors.  you can probably test all the dc pumps, radios etc by using a the family car.  take your time
Went Class C for efficiency

The stereo smoked in one of my RV's when the regulator in the alternator quit regulating.  Might want to check that out.

Thank u both. Good thing it was 8/10$ stereo that he blew up....just receiver of course, but I want it okay so he doesn't blow up my sound bar, or Sony surround that I'll loan him. And of course, moreso not fry himself, house, or dog snoopy, a shar pei that more resembles a bulldog in stature.
