How Do I?

How do I put a one tube spring reverb in this amp I have built? It's basically a marshall 2204 build. But you will notice I have made some modifications to it. I would like reverb in the chassis though if I can figure it out. I'm sure the topic has come up before. But I am not finding anything real clear or very useful on the forums. I would bet that someone has done it before me. So I'm here asking for help. I need pictures of a layout and a schematic. My brain works with pics and "PTP" wiring layout  better than anything else. If any one can help that would be great. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer them if I can. Thanx in advance!!!!

Chassis looks full. Where would you mount the extra tube, components and transformer?

There's enough room on the back of the chassis to mount a small reverb transformer say like on BF Fender. And I can put a tube socket slightly under the board. Along with a couple of RCA jacks. "I think I can squeeze them in". I think there is enough room for a one tube reverb type thing in that chassis. The board components will have to be modified to another board. I kinda planned on building a whole new amp to achieve this reverb goal thing anyway. Thanx!!

IMHO, use a pedal or 6g15 type reverb. the extra circuitry would have a high probability of adding instability in tight confines.

Thanx for the advice. I could do that (yea). No prob. But that's not what I am after. It's not gonna be that tight. Thiers room.  All a man can do is give it a try and see what comes of it. Thanx! Though. Appreciate the chime in.

I have been looking in their. I will have to spend some more time in their though, looking for info. I haven't seen anything real clear for my brain yet though. I was hoping for some new pics and layout diagram type thing. Anything you can offer would be much appreciated. Thanx!!!

Having said that ...................

After looking at your chassis photo and layout,  I personally would not attempt a one tube reverb in that chassis.  I would be more like to install a passive effects loop between the tone stack and the entrance to the LTPI & then use a delay or reverb pedal in the passive effects loop.

What Pete was trying to say was putting a one tube reverb with the tube under the board in on a high gain amp might create a howling squeeling mess you cant fix . in other words instability. I don't have any pictures but tried it once had to remove it couldn't get it to quit squeeling at anything past 3 on the volume. But give it a try, I understand.
 Sometimes for me that's how I learn the best.

Thanx, TJ ! I've decided to put an effects loop in the amp that I first posted about. And I have decided to go with a much larger chassis for the amp build that I am Prepping for now. There is a lot more room for a spring reverb type build. I will have to post a pic a bit later of the chassis I plan to use. Thanx again!
