Hello from Melbourne Australia

Hi all.
I'm currently starting my 4th build.  I've built a scratch built 4 watt Micro Bassman, 2 x scratch built 18 watt Marshall-esqe builds that use 6V6's, a 5Y3 rectifier and one tube reverb, and my latest is a 36 watt amp I designed myself (well, I pinched loads of ideas and small circuit sections from lots of other designs and mashed them up into my own design).
I live in Melbourne Australia, work as a sound engineer most of the time (a lot of touring), tinker with older Alfas and Fiats for fun, play bass and guitar, and build tube amps.  I'm recently divorced, and have a 7 year old son who lives with his mom in another city/state, so see him rarely because of geography and touring.  I'm planning to transition away from touring work over the next year or two to build more amps, and steer my career towards amp building, servicing and repair as a living, so I can spend more time with my son.
