A reverb question about reverb
« on: January 15, 2018, 12:27:03 pm »
Ello! I feel I should be able to figure this out but I really don't have any previous experience with the reverbs. What is the triangular tab/washer with the little hole for on RCA jacks exactly? I'm not sure if it was intended to be screwed down for extra security to keep the RCA jack from moving or if it's a solder tab or what. It's not depicted on any of the Fender wiring diagrams that I've seen. Or any others for that matter. Just wanna make sure before I make a reverb circuit that doesn't reverb. I feel like my questions are stupid... sorry.. thanks!..dave

It's the ground lug. I like to bend mine to make connection easier.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
