Pattern recognition or fertilized mind?

The date means little in my new life, Monday matters, but not "the 11th"
so I'm listening to the radio talking about a meeting Tuesday, my 1st thought, "what's the date?", looked at the phone, added 2, yielding 6 12 18, my mind registered 666 
It is Sunday

There was a time when I looked at the kitchen wall calendar to know what the date was. Those days are gone. Just this past week I looked at the kitchen calendar and could not figure out what the date was. Walked back to the bedroom, grabbed my phone to be sure.

It's kinda nice, my last life was govern'd by 30day cycles, spattered with daily interuptions
