Howdy
« on: September 14, 2018, 06:23:48 pm »
Hi, Long time lurker second time poster.  My first post was about tremolo problems with a twin reverb. I posted in Tube Amp building - Tweaks - repairs. I don't see it on the board, although if I go to my profile and look for posts I see it.  Any help would be appreciated

Anyway I'm primarily a player who wanted gear I couldn't afford. I started building tube mics and preamps for my home studio. I started with zero knowledge and a whole lot of stubbornness. I've modded and repaired a few amps with mixed results. I would be a much better player if I didn't spend so much time obsessing about tube amps, but I love 'em.
My main gigging amp is a 1967 Vibrolux I've had since the '80s. I have some smaller 6v6 amps including a Dukane PA conversion I found a schematic for on this board.

Thanks all for the great information.

We've had that same problem with another post today. I replied to your post about the TR. I think your next step is to replace the bug.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
