Bassman jack grounding question

I'm building my first amp, a Hoffman 59 Bassman.  I thought I could get by without asking a dumb question but grandpa said the dumbest question is the one you didn't bother asking :) he was a bright guy.

So here goes... on the 4 output jacks as well as 4 input jacks do I need wired soldered ground to each of the 4 jacks?  One of the jacks will have a ground from the output transformer but do the other 3 need wired grounds if each has continuity to the chassis?  Likewise for the 4 input jacks.  I've seen photo's online with wired grounds and without.

What is accepted "best practice"

All too often in the past, the accepted way was to let the jacks get ground via chassis connection, but this is dangerous because over time they can wiggle loose, and also get corrosion between the jack and the chassis.  It is always better to tie them all together somewhere to a physical connection to the chassis as well.  Also conmon practice is to put the preamp grounds all near one another and separate from the Power section and PI.
