How hot should a PT get?
« on: November 16, 2018, 07:00:09 am »
Ran the Webster amp for about 2 hrs. or so last night.  Wasn't pushing it, just comfortable level in the house.  Noticed afterward the PT was pretty warm.  You could touch it, but wouldn't want to hold your hand on it for more than 5 or six seconds.  Is this normal?

That's typical. Many amps run the PT hot. I would not be concerned unless the amp starts sounding different.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
