Has anyone painted a transformer?
« on: February 26, 2019, 07:22:15 am »
I'm thinking of painting the transformer on the tube pedal I'm building.  Nothing fancy, but since it sits on top of the pedal enclosure, I'd like it to look nice.  I'm using the Fender stand alone Reverb transformer for power.  They come painted black, but not really a very nice paint job.  Any input would be appreciated.

It seems that if the tranny has laminations, they should remain insulated form each other.
