Hello all from NoVa. I'm a software developer and got GAS a few years ago by association. I started with a 97 Washburn D12 I picked up in Amherst while going to Lynchburg to get a 2006 American strat with my buddy and now have over 40 guitars(12s, bass, acoustic, electric), banjos, mandolins. Majority are Italian, Swedish, Japanese from 60's. Quite a few amplifiers(66 Harmony, 66 Gibson ga-95 RVT, 72 Alamo, Yamaha 50-410 that belonged to Lew Dewitt Statler Bros, JVC NiViCo for my SG-18, Teisco 5W amp, Converted 'Voice of Music' champ amp rescued by Siegmund guitars in CA, Peavey Transtube 212). Have a guitar in shipment from Santa Ana today, 3/13. Have a bid on auction for a Les Paul Junior clone closing on 19th. All kinds of gear but I tend to stay away from what everyone has. I don't play them all at once but they all get played

I've got 3 grown kids, youngest is 32. 5 grandkids 14 - 2 yo.
I'm converting a 94 International 3700 with my 12 yo grandson and just picked up an 87 Mallard motorhome. I am a car nut and outgrew my turbo charged fascination a few years ago(83 TType, 85 TType limited) and have moved on to superchargers - 96 Ultra(busted the rack bolts so it's in the shop getting the broken bolts drilled out and the rack reattached. Strange feeling when your cornering and it feels like the car is going to continue in a straight line...
All of this stuff is so I win... and the majority is either craigslist or online auction finds. I've traveled to Cincinnati for several guitars and the VOM(ad said it was a G-DEC but it was the VOM chassis in a GDec case). Up to Trenton for the Bus, separate trip for a Prestige, Yairi 12, Jedson. Bridgeport, CT for a boat & trailer. Syracuse, NY for a pop up camper. Charleston, SC for a 1965 Harmony 12 string electric. I've come to rely on the UPS Store and find FedEx to be my least favorite shipping co.
Anyway, my Gibson GA-95 RVT Apollo arrived yesterday. Took it to my buddies(Fender guy) for the unpacking(he just snagged a 66 Vibroverb) and found it to be missing one 6L6 but he had a spare. Has 1965 Jenson C12N's(220550) and other than a 2 prong cord and pot scratchiness it sounded great. Ordered new tubes this morning from tube depot.
Who can tell me what the purpose of the second on position in "Off-Standby-On-ON" is? Doesn't seem to affect volume for either channel and I can't find a manual anywhere online. Thanks and Hello
