Plate and Screen grid Voltage Verification
« on: March 23, 2019, 10:50:46 am »
Hey all. I'm using some National Union 6V6GTs from the 50s, and my stereo 5F2A build has 357V at plate and 311V at screen grid. 6V6GT spec sheets from the time quote max plate voltage of 315V and max screen grid voltage of 285V. Am I too far out of spec, in terms of shortening tube life?

Hi, look at the TOPHAT club deluxe schem.
Plate = 344V screen= 333V

Look at Fender deluxe reverb as well.....

The tube charts are a general guide and there are differences between charts sometimes
