G'day

Hi everyone.  I'm an IT guy; originally a Kiwi - permanently moved to Brisbane Australia and loving Aussie life.  I've got 3 kids, wife, cat, bird, and the odd snake (not pets - they just turn up occasionally). 
I'm starting out with my first amp build after years of wondering how the heck these things actually work.  I've spent the last month working on the build which is based off the Lamington amp https://www.valveheaven.com/category/the-lamington-amplifier/ and I've learned a lot.  However I have also learned that I have a LOT more to learn...  I've often found myself on this forum and everyone is very friendly and respectful, and considering my skills at this point I'm very thankful  . I'm looking forward to learning and hopefully I'm able to contribute to the positive community that is this forum.
