Vibro Champ question
« on: July 06, 2019, 10:41:03 am »
67 BF Vibro Champ, all stock except I disconnected cap can and put the three replacement filters inside the chassis near the PT where I had room, on stand-offs. Amp sounds great but I noticed the other day when I went to move the amp that it was slightly warm under the handle...? I leave the amp off but the cord plugged in, unplugged the chord, hours later not warm. Are these factory circuits designed to supply voltage to the filters when off? Or what could be going on here?

Looking at the schematic, I "must" have wired the on/off wrong, didn't want to open chassis, a few nuts are a pain but the only reason is the wiring is wrong. Think first, post after :think1: I'll take a look.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
