Looking for Regulated Power Supply

I'm looking for recommendations for a reliable high voltage regulated power supply that also has a 5V and 6.3V output. Better yet, if someone has one for sale, I am interested.

You need to state Voltage & Current requirements.  Many supplies top out @ 400 VDC  & 150 mA.  Not enough for bigger power tubes.  The old Fluke 410D (I think) hits 600VDC @ high current. 


You'll want a "C-Output", typically 0 to 100 -VDC @ 1mA.  This is a fixed bias voltage supply.


6.3 VAC @ 4A is pretty standard for filament voltage.


I'm not aware of 5V output.  This is for a rectifier tube which is unnecessary.  You'r already getting rectified HT DC from the power supply.

Why regulated? How many tube guitar amps have you seen that had a regulated supply? An adjustable B+ would be much more useful. That's just a PT and small variac. Use a separate filament transformer.

jjasilli - yes, you're right re: 5V output. I did notice that most of the used power supplies I found on Ebay didn't exceed the specs you mentioned.

This is a simple bench supply that I use frequently.  It also has a built-in octal socket wired for power tubes so that I can test their static characteristics.  I also have an unpowered satellite box that I use with the bench supply to test small tubes.
