Vox AC-15 build reverb question

I'm a big fan of Sluckey's Vox AC-15 lite. I love EF86 pre amps, plus the drawing is super clean.

So I'm gonna build it, but I want to add a reverb unit. Now, I know there is a lot of great advice in this forum on reverbs, and I read through many of them until my head was going to explode - lots of great info. But being a novice, my question remains this: If you were building the aforementioned amp, what reverb unit would you choose to slot nicely into it? I'm sorta hoping for a one-tube reverb, but anything simple enough for an idiot like me would probably work (although I know idiots should not play around with HV electricity).

Another stupid question I have is this: why won't my basic $40 DMM (Southwire, or Southgate, or somesuch) read any cap over about 80uF? I probably need a Fluke, right? (yes, the battery is good.)

The reverb circuit looks very Fendery. But I really like the idea of sending the reverb to the second PI input. I always wanted to try that circuit one day, but never got around to it. Maybe I could work up a plan and you could put it together. Could just be the cat's meow. Might also just be a pile of cat shit! Always gonna be a bit of a risk when trying a different idea.

im currently building an ac15 with one tube reverb and trem in a princeton reverb chassis. here is my design with help from many people on the forum! tubenit even wrote a clean schematic and layout for it!

That would be a very interesting undertaking at my end, although being a novice, I tend to wire point-to-point, and my work looks like a snake pit when I'm done; you might be disgusted with what I create - talk about cat shit:). Still, I could try really hard to keep things tidy, and I'm fairly persistent, so something will eventuate.

From a Hammond organ (L100), I have a reverb tank (not sure if that will suit) and a very nice 12" 8ohm alnico speaker I'd like to use to save $$, so I'd get an appropriate OT to match that to the EL84s unless otherwise directed.

One other thing, which I hope does not seem blasphemous, is that I don't necessarily want/need the 6-way tone switch; because of my inexperience, I survive by the much-touted KISS theory. And almost any tube amp sounds so great to me that I'll be happy as long as the amp works. But if it is essential that it be included, I'll do my best.

Thanks, tony321owen. I took a good look at that thread - very interesting, especially as we are on similar builds. My preference for Sluckey's schematic is partly based on the fact that his rectifier plate voltages (and probably the B+) are considerably higher than the 275-0-275 voltage in your schematic: he's at 315-0-315, which suits the PT I hope to use. And being the cheapskate I am, I love using what I have lying around:).

But I learned a bunch from your thread and downloaded the gifs for future reference, so thanks again!

That Hammond organ (L100) reverb tank is for a cap driven circuit found in the AO-43. It won't work with this circuit.
