Vintage Flurescent Tube Base
« on: February 24, 2020, 10:24:12 pm »
My brother is rebuilding a vintage juke box and is looking for a bakelite flourescent tube base.  He has searched the net, the jukebox forums, ebay - no luck.

Any suggestions?

That looks like just a plain old “end piece” (for lack of a better description) that you would find in any of the old fixtures such as a workshop light. Pins go in slot and tube is rotated 90degrees one way or the other. Heck you might be able to find an old fixture at a garage sale for free.  Or on fleabay. They did come in several tube sizes so you will need to measure.  I don’t think the big box stores sell them any more as all the new fixtures seem to be LED.  Good luck!
