another new hobby

Hi fellow enthusiasts! I'm a retired carpenter that used to be into old Harleys,I've sold off my panheads and re-kindled my interest in guitar playing. I've always been curious about electronic stuff and nowadays with the internet, any questions that come to mind are easily answered! So I built a Mojo tone Champ kit first and recently found a harp amp schematic and layout by Randall Landry at Lone Wolf Blues Co., found all the components and assembled the amp from scratch including the cabinet. After playing harp thru it for five minuets I realized I was hooked! It sounds Wonderfull. I was way more impressed than I was with the Champ kit. So now I've ordered another project, a 5E3 kit from Weber. I actually found out how hard it is to source everything separately and decided to go the kit route one more time. Thanks for allowing me to ramble on and I'm looking forward to learning more about what makes amps tick...(or not tick)...Mike
