most charts I see rate 22 gage wire for in chassis wiring at 6.3 amps. Some at 7 amps.

How many amps are on the heater wires of a deluxe reverb AB763?
The insulation on the wire I have is rated for 600volts

Go here and look up each tube. It'll take you the same amount of time to add it all up as anyone else.

A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Thanks Sluckey but,Oh boy a little confusing what some of symbols mean on the charts....300ma?....4-12ax7’s and 2-12at7’s and 2-6V6’s
Under 3amps correct?
22awg rating for 7amps
Less than 50% of the rating........
Nothing to worry about?

I get 2.7A. I'd say you're good.

That's a good website link. I have it on my bookmarks bar for easy access. Maybe you'll want to save the link too. Comes in handy for amp builders. The more you look at tube data the more sense it will make. Don't worry about learning all at once. Take your time.

FWIW, i'll use 20AWG for the power tube string IF there are 4 power tubes. i use 18AWG for 6 or more power tubes (depending on type), and for the string of preamp tubes i'll switch to 22AWG if there are less than 6-7 typical 300mA 6V preamp tubes. for 2 power tubes and up to 8-10 typical preamp tubes, 22AWG works fine.

use PTFE insulated wire. it is a far superior insulation to cloth/PVC or PVC. i have no idea why anyone uses cloth/PVC wire - IMO it's garbage.

ampacity ratings for chassis wiring are fairly conservative, even more so if putting wire inside of any kind of pipe.
