I've got this amp on the bench.. somone dropped it on its face and broke off the reverb pot shaft (nylon). It needs a new 10K Linear pot. These are full size pots, marked  VPC1377424 and they
look like vintage style CTS pots only with a nylon shaft instead of brass. They are also PC mount. I'm unable to find one so my thought was to get an Alpha or CTS full size 10KL pot and using a dremel
grind down the leads to fit into the pcb.  The spacing of the three terminals on an Alpha are almost perfect and I think mounted height should be ok. Mount hole is 3/8".

Anyone know of a source for an original full size VPC 10KL pot?  If not - what do you think of my idea for replacement?

Have you tried Peavey? 877-732-8391 for customer service or 800-752-7896 for parts...Just a chance they might have it.

Thanks guys..  appreciated..     I looked at all the modern pv pots however they , like modern fender all seem to be miniature pots.  My thought was, yes might work, but the spread of the terminals is concerning.

DL  - thats what I am going to do.   Thanks for the confirmation.   The knobs fit a 1/4" metal shaft as well which is a plus so I'm going to try an alpha first because of the terminal spacing which seems to be a little wider and might fit better with less bending. I'll let you know how it goes.

The bottom of the board has all the traces exposed and it is purdy..
