Hello! My name is Chris and I live in Nottinghamshire (England). 
I'm an IT engineer by day and have been playing with guitars and winding pickups for some years now.
I recently purchased a vintage Fender amp and wanted to learn how to service and maintain it myself (safely).
I picked up a copy of Dan Torres "Inside Tube Amps" which has been a steep but interesting (and I have to say well put together) introduction to the technology. I joined the forum to get some help with the amp but mainly in the hope of meeting someone knowledgable who'd be willing to answer lots of stupid questions! :)
