Very pleased to make your acquaintance and hopefully a few friends... I do not look at all like Alfred E. Neuman but we'll borrow his likeness for my first post

I've built a few amps in my time (somewhere in the region of 150) and have taken a 4 yr. break from doing that full time and then part time to just take a deep breath, re-locate back to the US in NC and re-establish myself as a US citizen after living in Europe for 35 yrs. I currently work for Interstate Batteries as a salesperson and am just getting the hankering to start building amps again...

That doesn't mean I know a whole lot about electronics - I have often relied upon the knowledge of others and kind of fit in the middle somewhere. I do have 40+ yrs of bench wiring/test technician experience so my skill level is highest in that sort of area and the ability to build a high quality product. I have also worked in IT and the automotive industry - so hopefully you are getting a general idea of what I am about.

I look forward to engaging with you all on my favorite subject - guitar and bass amplifiers. Let us begin!

Yo dude... yeah... I'll try not to make too much of a nuisance of myself whilst helping newbies with stuff I know with as much kindness as poss...

I do actually have some cool stuff to get on with and am certainly willing to share...
