1978 JMP 2204 Input Question
« on: September 23, 2020, 06:50:11 pm »
I am about to start this build, and I have a quick question about the hi/lo inputs. Is there any reason I can't scrap the lo input, but keep the functionality on a switch instead? and maybe later add a relay so I can add a footswitch? The lo input bypasses the first input stage, and I really like how that input sounds, so it would be nice to have both options on a switch.

Thanks!

You can do that. No problem.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
