Can't believe it.  We lost Eddie Van Halen.  My dreams of he and Sammy getting back together are dashed.  Goodbye to a great one.

I understand that he was a really nice person in addition to being a great talent. Hats off to him and the other nice people who do not let fame turn them to dickheads. Wishing his family the best.

Coroner's report out. "... immediate cause of death was stroke. He also suffered from other health ailments, including skin cancer on his head and neck."
