I am building an amp which needs switching channels and tremolo. I have bought both a kit for the 6VDC power supply and a double switching relay kit.
I noticed both kits have a rectifier. So when I build the power supply kit ther will be an output of 6VDC.  The switching relays kit also has a full wave rectifier integrated. But that means I will be rectifying the supplied DC voltage from the PS. Imho that's obsolete? Isn't it better to put jumper wires instead of the diodes on the switching relays board? What if I do connect every board completely with diodes and all? Doesn't that mess up the required voltages?

"Kit" can be almost anything. Give a link to the specific kits you bought.

You don't need a kit for the 6VDC power supply. Put it in a dusty drawer.

I will disagree. The "kit-double-relais-switcher-6-v" makes its own DC, *but* it unbalances the 6.3V AC winding it uses and that may cause buzz in any tubes heated by that winding. If you have a separate heater winding for your big tubes, that may be OK.

But in general this plan wants a dedicated winding. The "tt-kit-extra-power-supply-6-v" kit has that cute little transformer.

So I would build one "Extra power", then several "Double Relais" board, but omit the power diodes and capacitor. Jumper two diode-positions *carefully* so the 6V DC comes to where C1 was.

No need to disconnect anything. Just connect the "Extra power" dc output directly to the Double Relay board ac input. The diode bridge will steer the dc in the proper direction.

But, in another post he has said he has a dedicated PT for the relays. That's why I said he doesn't need the "Extra power" module.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but..
When I connect the extra power kit to the 240VAC incoming power I should have a nice and clean 6VDC coming out? Thus I don't need the rectifier part of the switching relays kit and jumper those diodes.. I should be set then, no?

see attached schematic. Watch it, the channel switch relay (RY1) will switch simultaneously with the reverb relay (RY2)
The tremolo will be switched by relay RY3

That's fully true. According to my experience the relays need a separate winding or own transformer in order to avoid buzz.

I built a dedicated power supply that transforms 240VAC to 6VDC.  I tested it with the relays assembly and it works just perfect
