Real-life load-lines
« on: November 22, 2020, 07:20:59 pm »
Posted at DIYaudio: appears to be V/I oscillograms for a JBL speaker and unspecified transformer tube amp.

JBL 4312 is a 3-way speaker, but the first crossover is 2kHz so little effect on this graph.

The pure-tone lines run a bit high of nominal, a JBL trend. The open ovals are correct when speaker is reactive or resonant. The bottom row is snapshots of real music.
