6U10 for preamp tube?

I'm curious about this tube, basically 3 triodes in 1 tube.  I'm guessing that a decent guitar preamp could be made using one of these, and probably a decent single ended amp with the power tube of choice.
The hard part for me is finding the necessary 12 pin tube socket.
One other thing to think about with this tube is that 2 of the triodes are low gain like a 12AU7, and the third triode is a high gain triode.
I'm wondering if anyone has built an amp using the 6U10...

ampeg did. in the reverb ckt for the driver and recovery & cathodyne PI - the high-mu section is used for the reverb recovery amp.

the 6K11 is a better choice. 2 x high mu 1 x low mu. champ-like preamp & 12AU7 section cold biased as driver for SE should work. 

the 6C10 is  3 x high mu triodes - getting hard to find. fender used that in the super champ.

sockets are available and new production chinese made ones are available - search for compactron or duodecar socket on eaby. example here and NOS type here

I'll have to check my tube stash to see if I have any 6K11s or 6C10s.  I have a lot of different oddball audio use tubes...
