Anyone see problems with routing wiring this way?

Let me start out by saying sluckey thought it was a better idea to run the input wires to V1 under the board for appearance sake and I believe he is right about that. Now I need to figure out how to route the wires from the plate caps for V1a and b to the two volume pots and back again to the 270K mixing resistors.


I took a picture of an idea I had for running them across the center of the board and up between the mixing resistors. I have seen pictures of the inside of fender chassis and they braid the wires would it be a good idea to do that from the mixing resistors to the pots and am I off base in how I am running these wires?

By the way I bought some RG316 and 22 gauge stranded to reduce the chance of boogering my input jack wires.

Well nobody is responding which I take to believe means those that know more than I do are thinking why is he trying to do something a different way again when there is a tried and true way on Doug's layout. Therefore, I am going the tried and true way.

Was just thinking of moving the plate wiring as far away as I could get from the grid wires going to V1. Doubt that it is necessary but I thought it was something to consider and ask about. Probably not necessary.


It has been a little chilly here in south Florida as well. Supposed to be in the upper 70s tomorrow though. Will do my amp work in the Florida room tomorrow. That is Floridian for the back screened porch. I hope your weather improves as well.
