Could somebody kindly post the schematic for the 6au6 hoso minimalist? Been searching and coming up with broken links or fuzzy images. Thanks

Not sure what you're referring to?

Closest thing I have to that is the attached schematic.  I'm very happy with the amp and play it often.  Use a 6Au6 in place of the 5879 if you wish.

With respect, Tubenit

I actually ended up finding what I was looking for, but I'm not sure it's what I thought it was. Coincidentally this came from a post of your almost 11 years ago. What am I looking at here?

Interesting!  I didn't remember that.  :dontknow:  When I think of a "minimalist",  I think of a 6BM8 with both a triode and pentode in one tube. And I am not a fan of EL84/6BQ5 tubes.

I definitely would NOT use .047 post LTPI coupling caps.  Maybe .02 or .01?

I may have gotten my phrasing wrong with the minimalist term. I just meant no reverb/trem/fx loop. Using 6v6s for the power section. I'm a beginner so I hope it goes well. Thanks

With 6V6's,  I'd probably use .02 to .047 post LTPI coupling caps.
