Another painter
« on: April 22, 2021, 10:04:58 pm »
Saw Shooter's post and was inspired to share. I also have/had more hobbies than time: motorcycles, fishing, writing books, carving miniature duck decoys and more - but I fell in love with painting about 9 years ago. I like oils but acrylics are so much less work/cleanup.

Here's a couple of my favorites. The first 2 are original. The third is my rendition of Girls On The Bridge by Edvard Munch.

Really nice works!
the hand in the 1st painting is great, hands are the absolute hardest for me, then noses, then.......
Like you, I've been all over the board with hobbies, although I like to think of them as Endeavors considering the time, money, and effort I put in.  :icon_biggrin:

I'm working on Aerial Videography as my new "canvas"  at it about a year now.
keep feeding the Muse when it shows up!

I thank you, sir. Yours are nothing to sneeze at either. I really dig the Snowtrain piece. Reminds me of a loooong time ago when I was a kid. There were 2 abandoned rail cars we used to play in.

Funny... hands are the easiest for me, thus proving there is likely something seriously wrong with me lol. Faces absolutely kick my backside though. I'm doing a lot of loose landscape stuff these days. Got a soft spot for that Bob Ross style - it's just plain fun.

Drones and cameras, huh? Looking forward to seeing how that endeavour progresses! Why does the muse seem to think we have bottomless wallets?
