Source for repro Fender 6G13-A Vibrasonic chassis
« on: May 22, 2021, 11:46:43 am »
I know I could build the circuit in any number of chassis, but I'd like to make a semi-accurate repro, only with two 12" speakers instead of a single 15". I'll probably have to have a chassis custom made, is there anyone on this board who has done a similar build?

This might work for you https://www.ebay.com/itm/223269476269?hash=item33fbe5d7ad:g:Zf8AAOSwNX1cBbCW

I have no idea where you would source the plates.

Does anybody know if the brown vibrasonic, blonde 6G14-A showman, and later blackface twin reverb share the same chassis dimensions? (with the exception front panel holes). I do know that the brown 6G8-A twin amp is longer than any of them.

The Vibrasonic is shorter. Look here...

A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

I've been referencing that site alot, but their measurements seem to be all over the place, like a BF Pro Reverb being 26.5" wide and a BF Twin Reverb being 26" wide, which doesn't make any sense.
