Best version of that song ever done was performed live at the Filmore East by Joe Cocker.
I think it’s on his album
mad dogs and Englishmen.
Great guitar in that version.
I had heard Jimmy Page played with mad dogs and Englishmen (a.k.a Joe Cockers band) .

They had like 15 or 20 people in that band or some ridiculous number. Certainly not a trio, lol, but anyway, as I say, it’s the best version of that song EVER!!!
