So I wanted to post a video of me playing along to a backing track. Disclaimer. I'm not a great guitar player. Never was dedicated enough to learning and practicing throughout the years. I really want members of the forum to post video's of their amps, and of them playing through them. I don't know about anyone else, but for me it would be really helpful in determining what amp design I want to invest in and build. Seeing as how I haven't built an amp yet, I can only demo what I have here. That's a Mesa Boogie Triple Crown 50 watt head and 4 x 12 cabinet. In this video I am playing on the clean channel. Also posted are some pics of the gear that I have and am using. The guitar is plugged straight into the amp. Reverb is on the amp and about 11:00pm. There is also a little delay courtesy of the old vintage Line 6 Pod that you can see in the photo's. No amp modeling. Backing track is from "Elevated Jam Tracks" on the net, and saved to my laptop. Sound from the laptop thru the Focusrite interface into the Crown power amp, and to the 2 JBL JRX 215's. Iphone 8s plus for recording the video, and file dropped into Reaper (DAW) as well as the backing track itself and I played with the levels to try and get the backing track and the recorded video at the same level. New to DAW's and recording FWIW. Rendered with reaper to MPEG file and uploaded to YouTube. Link copied and posted here. Comments are welcome, and please share your passion and love for music and tube amps, and post some video's> I want to see your hard work, I want to hear your sweet sounds, and when I do commit to the build, you can bet it will be posted with pics, video's, and sound. Let there be music!!!!!!
