Sizing a reservoir Cap

Reading valve wizard. I'm trying to spec the resistors used when running two Caps in series. I have (2) 220uf 350v Caps so i will run these in series. The even-ing resistors can be calculated but I'm not sure what 50/C means in the wording. Is it 50/ Capacitance?  What resistors would i use in this case?  Also from what i understand it is okay to over-spec the reservoir cap if using diode rectification (will just be a stiffer sound).

i usually just use220k metal oxide resistors regardless of cap value
