Little project I have been meaning to make.  Just got tired of clamping boards in my PanoVise when building so I put this together.  Super easy to make and a useful tool in my shop.

Very nice! I used to just screw the turret board to my bench top for lacing. I could pull the laces so tight that I occasionally break one, but my bench top was starting to look like woodpeckers lived in the shop. I think I learned that trick from Doug.   

These days I screw the turret board to a sacrificial board and clamp that to my bench top.

Can you clamp the board down down tight so you can pull the lug lacing without the board moving?

I could rig something up for that but I honestly mostly do eyelet boards so not a big issue for me personally.  A clamp would be simple to add.
