PPIMV in a Twin Reverb AB763
« on: April 08, 2022, 07:01:59 pm »
I've been having fun successfully installing the post phase inverter master volume (PPIMV) in a FDR, FSR, and my AA864 Bassman-which all required changing to the BIAS configuration to the Fender AA763 Bias type.  All are two power tube amps obviously where the twin has four power tubes.

My question is will this same techniques work on the Twin Reverb if I make the connections to the two "inside power tubes-meaning pin 1 of both the V8 and V9 or maybe V7 and V9?

Attached is the layout I used on the other amps.

Thanks

Each pair of output tubes is connected in parallel - and that includes each pair of plates, screens and grids. The wire connection between each pair of pins is a two-way street - it doesn't care which end the signal source is coming from
A bus stops at a bus station. A train stops at a train station. On my desk, I have a work station.
