Revibe signal chain question
« on: July 31, 2022, 05:15:11 pm »
So I am lucky to already own a blackface Fender reverb tank and a Brown Fender Princeton. Since I am going to sell the Princeton (and by virtue the integrated tremolo circuit within it) I was looking at ways to replace the tremolo which is how I came across the Revibe.

My effects chain is typically guitar —> reverb tank —> pedal effects —> amplifier. The tremolo, being in the amplifier, is the last effect and is where I personally prefer it.

My question is about the effects order; since the Revibe is a parallel effect (Reverb and/or tremolo or neither) and not series (reverb followed by tremolo) is there no way to insert an effects chain between after the reverb but before the tremolo?

Build a 6G15 reverb unit and a 6G12 amplifier which has the harmonic vibrato built in. Put your effects chain between the two units.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!
