You know, I may just leave it. Hate to cover up all that cool stuff on top.

For safety, put a metal plate on the bottom of the chassis and fasten it to the chassis with short chassis bolts.

Ok here are the pictures of final product. Thanks to Sluckey for commenting that it looked good without a cab. And thanks to Willabe for suggesting to cover the bottom of the amp with a metal plate. Instead of the metal plate which was not so easy for me to find or fabricate, I bought a nice flat oak board at the local ReUse store for $1. I used a black oil stain and polyurethane clear coat. Total overkill since you can bare see the wood grain. Oh well. I think it looks nice and it's now fully enclosed which is safe. This amp sounds fantastic. So glad I chose this kit (neighbors are probably happy too @ 1 watt). I actually still need to order some rubber feet to keep it from sliding around.

Had to post this separately since the picture sizes exceed the maximum per post.

Last one. I find myself constantly alternating between these two guitars. Totally different sounds.

The idea was not so much to safely protect the amp guts, but rather to provide a complete electrical shield for the bottom of the amp to prevent gremlins from entering through the bottom. Your board does not provide this kind of protection. May I suggest covering the board with aluminum or copper tape, reinstall the chassis, then use a utility knife to cut off the excess tape. Just use the chassis as a guide.
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Good idea, thanks. I'll do that for sure. Will that aluminum tape they use on ductwork be ok? I could overlap the strips. That's pretty easy to find at the home improvement stores.

Another thing I could do it just buy the bottom plate that is sold separately by Mojotone (I didn't see it the first time I searched). $24 shipped but will save me buying the copper or aluminum sticky foil and time covering it. Should have probably bought this in the first place. And the more I think about it I'll probably just pop for it. Bolt-on solution for complete Electro and magnetic shielding.

I have a 3" wide roll of aluminum duct tape that I've used on several projects. I just overlap about 1/2" and trim after attaching to bottom or back panel.

After seeing your pics, it would probably be easier to just cover the entire board, flip it over and trim flush with the board edges. The tape will work just as well as the mojo bottom plate. Bottom plate may look mo betta.

Well that aluminum tape idea worked out slick as hell. That actually was kind of fun. I'm not sure if it got even quieter but this amp is dead silent. Very cool.

PS: Slucky I checked that Mojotone plate and it was actually a little too big and would have required shaving it down on each end (even though the holes lined up). So aluminum tape it was. So easy to work with and just as effective like you said.

Another view. The aluminum foil tape is not very visible due to face plate but it is under the aluminum chassis, you can see the foil on the end. Lined up just right.

Final pic of entire amp and bottom with the foil and rubber feet added. Thanks again for the suggestions.
