Mullard 6BM8

I picked up 2 pairs of matched Mullards(ecl82) early 60's if I recall. They have some green corrosion on the pins not too bad what is the safest way to clean them? Also grabbed NOS 12at7's and others I recognized He has a lot left but mostly used oddball (to me) tubes

I use one of the pin straightener tools and some Deoxit. A few passes in and out of the straightener usually does it. I've seen YouTube vids using a Dremel with wire brush - seems crazy to me. I also keep some 220 grit sandpaper nearby for such things.
I'm curious what you are using them in. I have a Gibson GA-8T and a Little Wing Mini Bassman - both are sweet amps.

yes I  love the ga5t I started to build one a few years ago and need to finish it. I have and old combo late 50's and it has 2 alnico 10's and i need to mate them into that build.those late 50's to 61 Ga5 s and 5ts  are quite amazing! I have both a 5 and a 5t 1960

I use a Green 3M Scotch Brite heavy duty scourer kitchen pot cleaner pad,
nice & easy slowly carefully drag thru the gap between pins on 9 pin tubes .
Has always worked successfully for me really well.
