I have a 5C8 on the bench and I am suspicious of the OT not being correct, the PT has a Triad sticker #6516 but the OT has metal bell ends and a stamp #2485 does this sound correct? The voltage on the plates of the 6L6's is 428. B+ is 436v but the schematic shows it being 380v?

When that schematic was drawn the wall voltage was 110, now it's more like 120-125, so your B+ will be higher than spec. 428V is fine for 6L6s.
