any oil can reverb users out there?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok I picked up a fender oil can echo/ reverb on ebay. I never even heard of one until I bought this one. I found some info, sort of a schematic and I am cleaning it up. I ordered some oil for it. so I really wont know how it sounds until then. Assuming it works at all. Plus Iam in the process of building the revibe unit right now. I should stick to one project at a time. If any one has one of these units I would like to know what you think.
Thanks John t.

I don't have one.
I'd guess that it would have a different sound from a spring reverb unit.
Do you change the delay time by changing the viscosity of the oil?
Let us know if you get it going.

6g6, Iam not exactly sure how it works.there are three pickups rotating in the can through the oil. They are connected to 1 meg pots. If I understand it correctly the oil can acts as a capacitor of sorts. I have also read its better as a delay unit then a reverb. I have the unit ready to go, just waiting on the oil at this point. Il let you know how I make out.
