Fuse help identification needed
« on: February 26, 2023, 03:06:03 pm »
I need to replace a missing fuse on a Lexicon unit i have. All i have is the schematic and a photo from a working unit online. i have never seen a .06 amp fuse. Is that what F4 is?

A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Maybe share the entire schematic. We may be able to come up with some alternative solutions. A 1/10A (100mA) is easier to find. For a last resort use a .22 cal LR bullet. Maybe become a candidate for the Darwin Awards.

+1 with Sluckey. (Been in the same situation) 100mA should be fine.
Anyway it can't be too critical, because the fuse has the same value for 100-120VAC and 220-240VAC
Save your money for real components. (also 10x 100mA fuses are a lot cheaper than 1x T0.06A fuse)
Regarding the file size, you could just capture the Power Supply section, it would give us a better idea.

I  would ohm the 35v to ground (NO POWER, discharged)
should be some high-ish ohms, >say 50K ohms
Went Class C for efficiency

If you are stuck getting those and need the 63mA, I have a bag of em and can post some over, was fixing a friends rack unit, he ordered a 10 pack but 100 turned up by mistake! bonus
