Netflix scraping the bottom of the barrel
« on: April 28, 2023, 03:14:34 pm »
Hey guys,
I'm feeling the effects of covid and a shortage of available cash to fund my amp projects.
So unfortunately that rectangle thingy on the wall gets more attention these days than the soldering iron.
Ploughing through mini series, movies and so on we're wearing out the remote looking for stuff to watch.
This brings us to the bottom of the barrel

Watch this as a kid and it was riveting stuff

:director: Step away from that rectangle thingy. It is not your friend. It will make you into something totally passive. You can do it.

Just joking. Sorry Timbo to hear that your still feeling the long term effects of covid. Bummer. Never got into Skippy as a kid. Did enjoy Zorro alot. Indulged myself (and dragged in the Wife) into watching a couple of those episodes from a streaming channel. Turns out I enjoyed it just as much as when I was a kid. I was surprised...

Hope you feel better soon, and hopefully climb out of the barrel.

Take care

Hey Timbo  get well buddy.  I have been enjoying the Australian actor Robert Taylor in "Longmire" lately. What a great actor.

I detoxed from the tele about 10 yrs back, this winter I detoxed from the gazing glass, it now stays home like it did last century!  or off, faraday bagged when traveling.  still spend 2 hours on the 'puter over a days time.

Good to hear. I'll take health over money any day. Yeah, at the end of a long day random colors and sounds from the tube is great. And at the end of the day, my favorite show... Hypnotoad  :icon_biggrin: (for those who watch Futurama)

I'm not sure about that. A Star Trek marathon can be mighty enticing with proper herbs and a big bag of tater chips.   :l2:
A schematic, layout, and hi-rez pics are very useful for troubleshooting your amp. Don't wait to be asked. JUST DO IT!

Hey guys,
Had to google those items....
Fig newtons,
We had something similar that was made of a spicy fruit mince, yes very tasty

Spicy fruit mince pillows | Australian Women's Weekly Food (womensweeklyfood.com.au)

Tater chips,
I'll take it they are similar to our local smiths chips

I read that as "potato chips" with a southern drawl. But this could be anything from chunky home-fries to artificial Pringles (and I know those awful things are sold worldwide).

Those Smiths 'Originals' are just like Ruffles Originals; since Smiths also sell Doritos and Cheetos I suspect a license to copy.
