"My" silly-scope!

About 1983 I saw a stripped-out oscillograph(scope) at the side of the road. '57 pentodes and the universal gas-tube sweep, big 7-pin sockets, very vintage. One of Allen B. DuMont's early builds.

Part of the shilling for the new movie Oppenheimer is clips from 1946 of Robert in the lab looking at 'my' silly-scope!

Wow, what roads you must have traveled!  I never see that sort of thing ...  especially now as my eyes age out.
