Anyone else here into Hammond Organs & Leslies
« on: August 29, 2023, 05:42:03 pm »
Hey all, I trust everyone is well.

I suppose these are still "TUBE AMPS".... but wasn't quite sure where to post.

I recently picked up a 1958 Hammond M3 tonewheel organ while shopping at a used building materials supply store.

I wanted drop-ceiling panels, I left with a Hammond M3 (Baby B3) for next to nothing....

The M3 is different than B3's and A100's (the common rock organs) in that, they did not come with a factory configuration to connect a Leslie speaker cabinet.

I'm wondering if anyone here might have some knowledge on this. I'd like to convert mine to accept a Leslie 122 or Leslie 147.

I've seen kits online in the 200-300 $USD range.... but surely there's a way for less.

Just wondering if anyone here on the forum has been down this road at all.

Thanks everyone!
