Bassman 50 update
« on: October 07, 2023, 02:32:20 pm »
The amp has been saved from the junk pile. It is alive and well. I replaced all of the caps. Mods for the elec and orange drops for the others. Biggest cost was a set of JJ 6l6. It sounds pretty good on the cd player I use. Got a buddy coming over to try it out. (I don’t play). Check out the picture of what I found. The connections to the speakers out were not soldered. The main speaker was wrapped around the eye and the aux was just stuck threw the eye. Need to total up how much I have in it. Less than $150 I think.

:occasion14: Cheers for an amp saved! Well done. Please report back on how your buddy likes it.
